Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to www.engagingforsuccess.uk

This website is run by Engaging for Success. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this website is

Our latest Accessibility Audit was conducted on 26/11/2021 and was measured against WCAG 2.1 standards, using WC3.

Although this website is for a registered limited company, rather than a public body, we take accessibility seriously. As such, in reference to the Equality Act 2010, our website meets all WCAG 2.1 A standards.

In addition, our website meets the majority of WCAG 2.1 AA standards required for enhanced accessibility, with the exception of:

  • Headers are not fully ‘marked up’ as per the WC3 Validation Requirements, they are however accessible with screen readers

  • The text size is reliant on individual browsers and what functions they provide

  • The colour/contrast is reliant on individual browsers and what functions they provide

You can learn more about the WCAG 2.1 guidelines here.
